Live News – Real Time News Ticker

Live News is an WordPress plugin that was inspired by the news tickers of broadcast television to provide the latest news and information, such as financial news, weather alerts, election results, sports results, etc.
This plugin will update the news in real-time using jQuery and AJAX. Your users can see the latest news without having to refresh the page.
News Manually Added
Using the Featured News and Sliding News Menus, you can manually create your news tickers. You can customize the sliding news to the fullest extent. You can choose your favorite color and add a custom image to each sliding story.
The news on the Sliding news with Stock Market Data Demo page has been manually added. Also, the increase/decrease icon have been uploaded to the sliding news.
WordPress News
Create news tickers using the WordPress posts. Use the titles, excerpts, and permalinks (for all posts or just those in a certain category) to build them.
News via RSS feed
You can generate a news ticker using RSS to get your news. This could be your WordPress RSS feed or the RSS of a TV channel, radio station, etc.
In the BBC News Demo, for example, the news ticker generated is based on news that are included in the RSS feed provided to BBC News.
Please ensure that you have the right to import content. The BBC News page in the plugin demonstration is not indexed and was created solely for demonstration purposes.
Twitter News
You can use Twitter to show your visitors the most recent tweets from your Twitter account and grow your followers.
You can choose to display tweets from other accounts. For example, on the page Sliding News From Pope Francis the news ticker pulls news from the account @Pontifex.
