Description

WP Offload Media(tm), copies files from the WordPress Media Library and uploads them to Amazon S3, DigitalOcean Spaces or Google Cloud Storage. It then rewrites URLs so that files are served from Amazon CloudFront, another CDN, or even from Amazon S3. With the Assets Addon, WP Offload Media will identify all assets (CSS/JS/images, etc.) that your site uses and will serve them via your CDN.
PAINLESSLY UPLOAD MEDIA LIBRARY
WP Offload Media will begin offloading files from your Media Library in the background. Close the browser tab to forget about it or keep the tab opened and track progress on WP Offload Media’s settings page. You can even pause or resume.
CONTROL CLOUD STORAGE DIRECTLY FROM THE MEDIA LIBRARY
The Media Library has been sprinkled with controls that make WordPress appear to have native support for Amazon S3, DigitalOcean Spaces and Google Cloud Storage. You can select multiple files to copy to cloud storage or remove them from cloud. You can also view a file, check its cloud storage information, copy the file to/from cloud, or remove it from cloud. You can toggle between public and private access without leaving the Media Library.

Remove files from server
WP Offload Media reduces server storage usage by removing files after they have been uploaded to Amazon S3, DigitalOcean Spaces or Google Cloud Storage. Our tool can also be used to remove media files offloaded from the server quietly in the background. This will free up space.
Download and remove from cloud storage
Have you removed all of the media files that were offloaded from your server yet? WP Offload Media will download all your offloaded media files from Amazon S3, DigitalOcean Spaces or Google Cloud Storage at the click of a single button. No scripts, command lines or other tools are required.
Copy between buckets
You need to copy the media you’ve just offloaded to another bucket with the same cloud storage service provider. You might be moving from a staging to a production bucket. WP Offload Media allows you to copy media files from one bucket into another, within the same cloud provider. The files are copied in the background.
MOVE FILES TO NEW STORAGE PATH
You will be asked to move any existing files to a new path if you make changes to your storage settings for Path, Year/Month or Object Versioning. If you choose “No”, existing media will remain where they are, and only newly-uploaded media will be using the new path.
LINK MEDIA ITEMS WHICH ARE ALREADY IN THE CLOUD
Have you already uploaded your media to the cloud? You may be moving your website away from WP Engine, but still want to keep the LargeFS Amazon S3 bucket. Configure WP Offload with your bucket, storage path, and metadata tool. This will link your WordPress media library with the media files that are already stored in the cloud.
