Description
WPML Media Translation lets you choose images or other media to translate content. You can provide images to replace content in other languages, and you can translate the meta text of these images. When you use WPML Translation Management, and need to display different images for translated contents, you should use WPML Media Translation.
You can see the difference between translating images with and without Media Translation. The WPML core plugin lets you manually translate images and media within your content. You translate the images and media in your content just like any other page.
Translated content is edited in the WordPress editor. You can use different images to represent different translations.
When you use WPML Translation Management you do not edit each translation within the WordPress editor. Translations are edited in a special editor (either inside WPML, or through a translation service). You will need to use a separate tool in this case. This is WPML Media Translation.
Your content may contain images that include text (e.g. screenshots of the user interface) and must be translated into different languages.
